While perusing social media a few days ago I saw Target was releasing a new line called "Wild Fable". Obviously I was stoked because honestly Target can do no wrong. Wild Fable is more trend focused than Target's other collections and is size inclusive (similar to WWW) featuring sizes from 0 to 26!! Cute! I hopped on over to my local Target to see what it was all about.
Display The visual display was giving me affordable Urban Outfitters vibes. Not affordable in a cheap way but like approachable? If that makes sense? It probably doesn't lol. But I was digging it. Their main hard goods display had CABOODLES on it. I actually giggled when I saw them.
Price Everything in the collection is under $40. Need I say more? FAB!
Style The entire collection is very 90's inspired featuring rib knits, Clueless-esque plaids, fanny packs, tiny sunglasses, billowy blouses, and wide cut trousers. I'm here for it!! While I would say my personal style is a bit more Who What Wear than Wild Fable for the most part, I still really love this collection and think the pieces are so F U N!
I dive into my thoughts on the specific pieces I tried on below. (and even further, see my style picks from the collection!!)
I've been wanting to have a fanny moment for awhile and was so happy when I saw this one apart of the new collection. I love that this is a jeans look but just a little more ~elevated~. The gold necklace is making all my layered necklace dreams come true for only ten dollars (i've been searching for a gold coin necklace all summer). I really like these wed leg jeans, soooo on trend. They fit me a little bit looser on my bum than I would like but for $24.00, I'll take it!!
If there is one piece from this entire collection you need, it is this jumpsuit. It is the comfiest thing in the ENTIRE planet. I put it on as soon as I got home and watched a movie in it, slept in it, belted it and wore it to a bridal shower the next day and am currently wearing it. Someone needs to take it from me or I will not take it off.
I thought this two piece was sooo adorable. I'm wearing the jacket as a top but you could easily wear it open with a tank undeneath or pair it with mom jeans. I'm wearing an XS in the jacket and a S in the skirt.
I saw this corduroy jumper and needed to try it on. I paired it with a baby pink boxy tee in store but this could be a really cute transition piece for fall with a a turtleneck and knee high boots. I'm wearing a S in the tee and the jumper.
This two piece set is (fire emoji fire emoji fire emoji). The top fit me a little funky, but tops like this typically do. I could totally see myself pairing this with some pointy pumps and a thick cat eye for a nigh out.
